Alaska Airlines has unveiled a new 737 paint scheme designed to scare the you-know-what out of my 5 year old. Or maybe it's designed to promote the Alaskan fishing industry and it just happens to scare the you-know-what out of my 5 year old.
Either way, the new "Salmon Thirty Salmon" (man, their writers are worse than mine) is now making stops at airports around the Western US. It's actually kind of cool, right up until the point when you realize that your tax dollars paid for this spiffy paint job, to the tune of approx $500K.
